In addition to the eye care practice, Andrew Polan, F.N.A.O., is vice-president of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce and former associate professor at Suffolk County Community College where, for more than 10 years, he taught  in the Associate Degree program in Optician licensing. Andrew helped write the curriculum for the program and also chaired the SCCC Opticianry advisory panel and was on the review committee to ensure that the students graduate the program with the skills they will need to succeed in the state licensing exam.
